Kenneth Marine Glass
Riverside Studio Inc
I strive for a high level of craftsmanship in my work, concentrating on form and color while balancing the practical and artistic nature of the glass. When I capture the curve and line of the glass there is an element of gracefulness and life that abounds in the glass itself. Glass is a reflection of light and life.
All of my glass is made 'off-hand', one at a time, by me. I gather the hot glass from the furnace and shape it on the end of a punty rod or blow-pipe using a few simple hand tools. I enjoy working the glass alone in my studio just twelve steps away from the back door of my house near Table Rock Lake in Southwest Missouri.
